At Polmont playgroup we strongly believe in learning through play so our experienced and qualified playleaders offer children a variety of carefully planned activities and learning experiences designed to develop positive learning attitudes and maximize opportunities to develop individual’s abilities.
Our setting promotes a welcoming and caring ethos by showing care and respect for everyone and developing positive social and physical well-being. We encourage an open and relaxed environment where everyone’s opinions and ideas are listened to and valued and children are encouraged to play an active part in their own learning.
As our playleaders are employed full time we do not have a parent rota to help at our sessions, however we do encourage parental involvement through good communication, supporting learning at home and sharing any special skills or occupations with the children.

NEWS
New Premises
We are moving to our new premises next week and sessions will start running from there on Monday 23rd January. Playgroup will operate as normal until then. It is just across the road in the Greenpark Centre (the old school nursery annexe) and children will be given transition visits this week to familiarise them with it.
Playgroup is not council funded so we need to fundraise to allow us to buy new equipment. Please support our efforts!
